Background

Ahead of the Belgian brand Loop Earplugs' entry into the Korean market, the brand localization carried the brand's energy across every touchpoint — typography, brand voice, e-commerce, and advertising.

Brand Design & Consulting
Localization began with the search for a typeface that could carry Loop's energy into Hangul.
Loop's English headline typeface, FK Screamer, is characterized by tight spacing and a shouting, screaming form. To translate that energy into Hangul, typefaces were reviewed systematically, and Noh Sori Pro Black was selected — a typeface developed by giving form to the sounds of Hangul — for the way it evokes Loop's logo forms and product silhouette. After the typeface was set, the brand's tone of voice was localized together with a content writer, completing a typography guide and brand guide suited to the Korean consumer context.

E-commerce & Ad Creatives

The goal was to convey the product's functional qualities and its sensibility as a fashion item at the same time.
Placing the product within a lifestyle context and tuning the color system and copy tone positioned it not as a noise-blocking tool but as an item with taste. Visuals were adjusted to suit the characteristics of domestic e-commerce platforms such as Naver Smart Store and Coupang, and — building on the established guide — the website, product detail pages (PDP), and promotional materials were designed firsthand.
