The goal was to place a global baby brand within the everyday life of Korean parents. For the Korean market launch of doddl, a British baby cutlery brand, the visuals for the Korean market were designed across the board — from package design and e-commerce setup to social media content. Every decision was measured against one question: how Korean parents would experience this brand.
Photography & Visual Direction
What got photographed was not the product but the scene on the table. The shoot was planned around lifestyle scenes of a child actually eating. A different sensibility from the global headquarters' visuals was needed, so the spaces, tones, and scenes were rebuilt around what Korean parents could relate to. The resulting images were used consistently across e-commerce, social media, and advertising materials.
Package Design A gift set package was designed for an exclusive Korean market release. While maintaining the product's premium positioning, the package form and visuals were designed to fit Korean consumers' gift-giving culture. Alongside the package design, the product photography for the gift set launch was carried out firsthand.
E-commerce Design Naver Smart Store was built up as the primary e-commerce channel for the Korean market. Based on the role a PDP plays on Korean e-commerce platforms, the detail pages were designed to convey both the product's functional qualities and the brand's sensibility. Global product information was restructured to meet Korean e-commerce requirements, and the brand store build and visual elements throughout were produced firsthand.
Social Media & Content
Social media channels were the brand's everyday point of contact. The Instagram feed ran on photos and video produced in collaboration with brand ambassadors. The visual direction for the founder interview video fell under this work as well, keeping the content direction consistent with the target Korean consumer.
